The Child Development Center offers full-day care, hourly care, weekly care, and age appropriate childcare programs to ensure the success of military children. Their services are designed to meet the needs of parents working or in school on a full-time basis. They also offer hourly child care which will accommodate families who require short-term child care services on an intermittent basis when slots are available.

Infant Care (6 weeks – 12 months) The CDC offers infant care designed to provide high-quality, individualized, responsive and stimulating experiences for infants. Their goal is to promote strong development and learning in infants through a loving and responsive environment, focused curriculum, individualized experiences and daily reports to parents.

Pre-Toddler Care (12 months – 24 months) The CDC offers pre-toddler care that builds on the child’s experiences and strengths. Their program prepares toddlers towards their first step of independence before going into the Toddler program. This care helps foster cognitive, emotional, and social skills in children.

Toddler Care (2 – 3 years) The CDC offers toddler care that allows children to explore and develop new abilities in a safe and nurturing environment. Self help skills such as toilet training; dressing, eating, and hand washing are important parts of this program. The curriculum also emphasizes on increasing vocabulary and language skills, developing fine and gross motor skills, and increasing self-expression through art, music, dance, and more.

Pre-School Care (3 – 5 years) The CDC offers pre-school care that is designed for children 3 to 5 years old. This cuurently meets the needs of children as they grow older by focusing on cognitive skills which includes intentional play and hands-on learning in a fun and stimulating environment. The program also helps children learn to share with friends, develop self-help skills, understand and control emotions, and respect others.

Children with Special Needs The CDC offers services for military children who have been identified with special needs when reasonable accommodations can be met. This includes services that are tailored to meet the needs of each individual child. Reasonable accommodations are based on individual needs and abilities that can be provided by CDC staff.
