Laurel Bay is home to a variety of amenities and services for your convenience. Laurel Bay has 2.7 miles of walking trails, numerous community parks and playgrounds, a boat and RV storage lot, a fishing pier, tennis courts, a basketball court and a community center. The community center has a swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center and a Dot.Com Cafe available for residents.
Laurel Bay is also home to the three Department of Defense Schools in Beaufort that serve residents with children pre-K through 8th grades. MCCS manages a youth center, a childcare center, a gas station, a convenience store and a movie rental facility on Laurel Bay as well.
On MCRD Parris Island, AMCC manages 260 single family and duplex style homes. Parris Island has three and four bedroom homes available to all ranks. Homes are located in three communities on Parris Island including Marsh Landing, Wake Village and Weapons Sound.
Parris Island features Lowcountry style new housing, playgrounds and a Parris Island Community Center. The Parris Island Community Center features a 24-hour fitness center, children’s play area, large family swimming pool as well as a kiddie pool. The homes on Parris Island offer proximity to work, restaurants and shopping. Both the MCCS Exchange and Commissary are located on Parris Island grounds. Community activities, summer camps and extended learning programs are offered on site as well through the many organizations affiliated with MCRD Parris Island.

The post office also serves residents on Parris Island through the use of a postal station located on site.
