If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commader
and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military
will not pay for travel and housing for your spouse if you do not follow proper
procedures.
If you are arriving during duty hours, you should report
directly to the Military Personnel Division (MPD), Building 2100, Rm 19 (Bldg.
2100 is the first building on the right when you enter the Yuma Test Area from
Laguna Dam Road). If you are arriving after duty hours, on a weekend
or holiday, you should report to the Police Station, Bldg. 304 to pick up your
keys for guest housing. You must have reservations! You
should report to MPD the first duty day after your arrival. When you
report to Building 2100, you should have in your possession 5 copies of your
orders; 201 file, promotion packet (if applicable) and leave form. An
in-processing checklist will be issued. Individuals will also need to
have all financial papers related to their PCS. The sponsor will
escort the new soldier for 8 days during the in-processing
period. The sponsor will be his/her mentor to ease the
transition.
*All other incoming personnel, on the first duty day after
your arrival, you should then report to the proper building.

-PCS orders.
-Official Birth Certificates for your children
in order to register them for school and/or child care.
-Family immunization
records.
-School transcripts and/or updated resume (Resume Builder) if you or
your spouse plan to seek employment.
-Professional certifications or
licenses.
-Proof of car insurance.
-Pet registration and health
records.
