If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commader and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them.  The military will not pay for travel and housing for your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures.

If you are arriving during duty hours, you should report directly to the Military Personnel Division (MPD), Building 2100, Rm 19 (Bldg. 2100 is the first building on the right when you enter the Yuma Test Area from Laguna Dam Road).  If you are arriving after duty hours, on a weekend or holiday, you should report to the Police Station, Bldg. 304 to pick up your keys for guest housing.  You must have reservations!  You should report to MPD the first duty day after your arrival.  When you report to Building 2100, you should have in your possession 5 copies of your orders; 201 file, promotion packet (if applicable) and leave form.  An in-processing checklist will be issued.  Individuals will also need to have all financial papers related to their PCS.  The sponsor will escort the new soldier for 8 days during the in-processing period.  The sponsor will be his/her mentor to ease the transition.

*All other incoming personnel, on the first duty day after your arrival, you should then report to the proper building.
