Active Duty Marines do not need to register their vehicle with the State of AZ. However, State of AZ allows active duty military to have a Military Exception, if their home of records is not AZ, which will cost only $14.50 the first year and every year $9.00, henceforth.
MCAS Yuma does require that you register your vehicle(s) at Pass and Registration Office.
Personnel reporting for duty must register their vehicles within 30 days of their reporting date. The driver must present a current and valid state registration, driver's license and proof of liability insurance required under AZ law ($15,000 per person, $30,000 per accident, and $10,000 for property coverage).
Dogs and cats living on station must be registered with the Veterinary Service within seven days of arrival. Firearms and dangerous weapons, to include BB guns, pellet guns, blow guns, air-operated weapons, K-bars, hunting knives, bows, arrows, dart gun, and sling shots must be presented and registered within 24 hrs. of the first work day.
