The Dental Clinic is co-located with the Branch Medical Clinic in
building 1175. The Dental Clinic is staffed by six dental officers,
13 dental technicians and one civilian assistant. The clinic offers a
varies of services including; restorative, endodontics, periodontics, and
prosthodontic care.
Orthodontic service is unavailable. Any
necessary dental specialty procedure that cannot be performed here will usually
be referred to the Naval Dental Center in San Diego.
Sick call
appointments are available daily on a walk-in basis. Appointments for
active duty can be made through unit dental representatives, by telephone or by
walk-in at the appointment desk. Sick call patients in pain are dealt
with on a case by case basis.
Family member and retired care is not
available. Recommend members enroll in the United Concordia Dental
Plan. Enrollment into the Dental Plan can be done
on-line.
