When members are on remote tours or TDY for more than 30 days, families are placed in stressful situations. The Family Support Center offers pre-deployment briefings to help reduce some of the stress. The briefings ensure members and their families are aware of the FSC services and know how to prepare for personal issues related to the separation. This office also serves as a focal point for family members to call when they do not know where to go for assistance, while dealing with a military related separation.
