The speed limit on base is 30 mph unless otherwise posted with a 15 MPH
in the housing area, and is enforced by law enforcement patrols equipped with
radar. Seat belts are required at all times while driving on
base. Random vehicle checks are conducted periodically at each
gate. All motor vehicle accidents must be reported to the security
police. All vehicles must be registered. Unauthorized
weapons are not allowed on base. Caution in winter travel is a
must. Spring brings the usual thunderstorm and the potential for
severe weather, including tornadoes. Caution must be taken,
especially in fall and winter, for deer and other critters that may jump out
onto the roadways.
Visitors to Pass and ID will be taken
care of during the normal duty day. Vehicle registration, proof of insurance and
ID card is required to register a vehicle on base.
