Should you be selected to deploy while stationed at Whiteman you can be assured that you will be properly informed of all military and personal obligations you may have.  The Family Support Center conducts a weekly pre-deployment briefing, every Wednesday at 1:00 PM.  If you are in a mobility slot or if you are deploying, it is mandatory that you attend at least yearly.  We highly recommend that if you are put into a position to deploy that you attend as soon as you are notified.  There are squadron support groups for spouses as well as a support group called "Hearts Apart" conducted by the Family Support Center.  We are also fortunate to have an active "Key Spouse" program in each of the squadrons.  Should you have questions please contact the Readiness NCO at the Family Support Center.  The Air Force Aid Society provides numerous programs dedicated to the families remaining behind.  Also special emphasis is placed on "Single Airmen" deploying to help them ensure that all their needs are taken care of.
