It is about a 2-hr drive
from West Point. By car, take exit 15-W on the NJ Turnpike. After paying the
toll, take the first exit, Kerney 508 West, which will bring you onto Harrison
Ave. Follow Harrison Ave for approximately 1 mile to the second traffic light (1
flashing yellow and then 2 regular lights). Harrison Ave intersects with Supor
Blvd. Make a left turn onto Supor Blvd and go four blocks where you will make a
right onto Wilhelm St. The Vehicle Center is on the right. The
successful movement of your POV is not a matter of chance. It is a result of
proper advance preparation and planning. It's your vehicle. Ask questions. Be
involved. Read what you sign. Contact your local transportation office prior to
making any plans to ship a POV. Ensure you have sufficient funds available in
the event of unexpected delays or expenses to, from, or at the POV processing
center. Call the port in advance.
Do not arrive at port with more than a
quarter tank of gas. If you do so, you will have to leave the port and pay
someone to pump out the extra gallons.
