There are many pre-school options available in Anne Arundel
County. The state of Maryland requires that children must be 4 years
of age on or before September 3rd in order to apply for admission to the
pre-school programs in the 2007/2008 school year. Children must also
live in the school attendance zone in order to attend a state-funded pre-school.
Parents, along with their child, must bring their child's birth certificate, any
health documentation, immunization record and 2 proofs of residency to the
school in order to register for the program.
Many excellant private
schools are available in Anne Arundel County. Many of these schools have a
religious affiliation, but have an open acceptance policy. For information about
