The Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is a Department of Defense program for the prevention, education, and intervention and treatment of child physical and emotional abuse, child neglect, child sexual abuse, and spouse abuse. FAP Objectives:

1. Stop abuse and/or neglect in our Navy families.

2. Teach parenting and family communication skills.

3. Help you, your family and eligible offenders in crisis.

4.  Advise and support commands on family crisis issues.
