Anne Arundel County Public Schools offers a comprehensive,
multicultural curriculum from kindergarten through 12th grade, with
pre-kindergarten provided at specific schools. Browse the unique educational

To enroll new students in kindergarten, a parent
must:
1. Bring the child's birth certificate and a copy of the immunization
record. The immunization record must indicate the child has received four doses
of DPT (diptherias, pertussis, tetanus), three doses of polio vaccine, one dose
of Rubella (German Measles) vaccine, two doses of measles, one mumps, one
chicken pox, three Hepatitis B. Your child's immunization record must list all
immunizations with the dates of each vaccination; be signed by a physician,
health department official or school official; and be approved by the admitting
school.
All doses must be given on or after the first birthday.
2. All
must be completed before students can attend school.
3. Provide two proofs of
residence (This requires you to bring a bill and a rental agreement
or two bills with your name and address. You can not use your driver's
license.)
4. Please include any custody documentation regarding your
child.
5. If you are enrolling your child for Kindergarten 2007 -
2008, your child must be five years old on or before
September 30, 2007.
A student transferring from another school system in
Maryland must present the Maryland Transfer Form. A student enrolling from out
of state should bring a transcript and immunization record.
