The Family Resource Specialist, provides information and referral
services for choosing quality childcare, providing childcare, accessing
enrollment in the Coast Guard Special Needs Program, applying for adoption
reimbursement, providing elder care information, and scholarship information for
eligible family members.
Contact the Family Resource Specialist for
Childcare referrals to Military Family Child Care and Child Development Centers,
plus local civilian childcare resources. Also the Armed Services YMCA
has a list of certified teenage supersitters.
