On Oahu, both military and civilian facilities offer golfing,
horseback riding, camping, hiking, arts and crafts, and many more
activities. Be sure to visit a base MWR office to get complete
information on recreational activities. The publications "USCG
Hawaiian Islands Relocation Handbook" and "Aloha from the Coast Guard
Hawaii" included in your welcome aboard package have complete listing
of activities and points of contact.
ISC Honolulu MWR office provides
complete MWR activity information, tickets and event schedules. Hawaii has a lot
of child-oriented activities. School age children can take advantage of school
sports, band, or club programs. In addition, there are many programs sponsored
by the various military MWR departments. Chaplains Religious Enrichment
Development Operation Program provides a spiritual enrichment retreat for

churches around the island also offer religious programs for teens.
