Personnel arriving with a child with special education needs
should contact the Special Education Department of the applicable school
district for information on enrollment procedures and support services
available. In addition, all children who require special education
must be enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program. This is to
ensure that the special need is taken into account during the detailing process
so the service member will only be stationed where those special needs can be
