There are no Military Treatment Facilities in the Cleveland
area.
ACTIVE DUTY
AD members are enrolled in TRICARE Prime
Remote. You will receive more medical information during your unit
check in.
AD members are seen by Contract Dentists. You will
receive more information from the Health Benefits Advisor during your unit check
in.
FAMILY MEMBERS
TRICARE - All three Tricare options (Prime,
Extra and Standard) are available in the Cleveland area. If you are
currently in Tricare Prime DO NOT disenroll when you leave your current
unit. You will be able to change providers once you arrive in this
area. If you disenroll you are only covered by standard and are
subject to deductibles and payment percentages. DO NOT
DISENROLL prior to leaving your current unit.
DENTAL - Dental coverage is
available under the Tricare Dental Program. (The current contract is
with United Concordia). The AD member must set up an allotment for
payment of the monthly premiums. Coverage does not begin until the
1st of the month following the first payroll deduction. (For example
if the first payroll deduction is made on the June 15th coverage would not begin
until July 1).
