Who Gets Dislocation Allowance:  Most service members on PCS orders with their families, as well as single members who are not assigned permanently to government quarters at their new duty station.  The amount is equal to 2.5 months BAH.

Who Gets Per Diem:  Service members who incur food and lodging costs during relocation.  The amount varies by location.  Service members traveling with families get additional per diem.

Who gets temporary living expense (TLE):  Service members arriving at or leaving bases in the continental United States, even if they move into temporary government quarters.  The amount is up to $110/day for up to 10 days.

Who Gets Advance Pay:  Service members with PCS orders with Commander s approval.  The amount is up to three month's pay which is paid back over three months.  

Who Gets Advance BAH:  Service members with PCS orders who will be moving into rental housing off post.  The amount is up to three months BAH for stateside moves.
