CG RENTAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM:
The Coast Guard in Miami is
participating in a housing program called "Rental Partnership Program
(RPP)." RPP is a program designed to help military personnel obtain
affordable housing. The advantages of the program are that the
security deposit and application fee are waived, rent is reduced 5%, and members
can choose their own residence. In return, the member pays their rent
by allotment. All military members with at least one year remaining
on active duty in the Miami-Dade area are eligible. Apartment
communities in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties are included, as well
as a few houses. For more information, contact the Local Housing
Office at 305-233-3240/5720.
