Dental Services are provided at ISC Miami Medical Clinic and Air
Station Miami for active duty personnel only. Air Station Miami can only see
active duty Coast Guard personnel. Dental services for family members is
provided through TRICARE Dental (United Concordia or Delta for
Retirees).
ISC MIAMI DENTAL SERVICES

Dental Sickcall is on a walk in basis for the treatment of severe tooth
pain, broken teeth, or abnormal swelling or bleeding in the mouth. All other
dental procedures should be scheduled as appointments.
DENTAL
PROCEDURES........0830-1430 M-F
We have two dental officers aboard who
provide a wide range of dental services, including exams and x-rays, fillings,
crown and bridge work, mouth guards and root canals. Advanced specialty care
such as endodontics, orthodontics and periodontics can be referred to providers
in the local area.
DENTAL HYGIENE........0700-1100 M-F, 1300-1400 Tues,
1300 Friday
Dental Prophylaxis is required for active duty at least once per
year. Appoints are generally scheduled about one month in
advance.
TRAINING DAY........1230-1530 Thursday
The clinic is closed
on Thursday afternoons for staff meetings, training, administrative choirs and
clinic field day. For emergencies, please call the OOD at (786)
412-8300.

needing other services are subject to referral to contract
healthcare.
AIR STATION CLINIC PROCEDURES:
Please report to the
clinic 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to permit
adequate check-in time. Your appointment may have to be rescheduled
if you arrive late.
