Volunteering provides an excellent opportunity to learn new
skills, try different work settings, explore career options, or just meet and
make new friends.
The Family Support Volunteer Resource Program (VRP)
serves as the central clearinghouse for volunteers providing information about
volunteer opportunities on Tyndall AFB and in the local
community. Opportunities are available in a variety of settings
including the American Red Cross, Family Services, Family Support Center,
Retired Affairs Office, Thrift Shop, Chapel, Education Center, Library,
Hospital, and more.
Referrals are made directly to the
agencies. Selection of volunteer placement is up to the
agency.
