There are three local state institutions that hold classes on
base and at their off-base campus. See Contacts/links in the Local Community
section for information on these.
There are also two universities which hold
classes only on base. See Contacts/links for information on
these.
All courses required for the completion of an
Associate's degree are readily available. Graduate programs are also available
locally.
TYNDALL EDUCATION CENTER
The Tyndall Education Office
provides many services. Professional counselors and technicians are
available to assist military and civilian personnel and their family
members. Retirees can be provided with unofficial academic
evaluations along with information on financial aid, availability of courses,
and the GI Bill.
The colleges and universities on base and in the local
area provide a wide variety of courses and degrees from associate through
Masters level.

COLLEGE
Offering associates of arts and sciences degrees, Gulf Coast
Community College holds a multitude of courses at Tyndall every
semester. The Weekend Computer Institute provides computer classes on

EMBRY-RIDDLE
AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY
A unique, totally aviation-oriented institution,
offering Associate and Bachelor degrees in Professional Aeronautics, a Bachelor
degree in Management of Technical Operations, and Master's Degree in
Aeronautical Science. All classes are evening and Saturday
meetings. Five nine-week terms are held each year.
