While shopping in the Poconos, you will see some of the sights
we're famous for, like charming Victorian neighborhoods, historic sites, art
galleries and downtowns. Shopping is one activity that you can do year-round in
the Pocono Mountains. The Poconos are home to factory outlets with name brand
items, crafts and specialties stores, markets and more. Antiquing is also very
popular here.
Mt. Pocono Shopping Center
If you are looking to grab a
few things and don't want to go far or go to a mall then you will be able to
find most of your basic needs in Mt. Pocono. On Rte 940 off of 611
you will find the Mt. Pocono Shopping Center, which houses K-Mart, Mr.Z's
grocery store, Payless, Fashion Bug, Sneaker King, and much
more. Across the street you will find the Mt. Pocono Super
Wal-Mart. Also in town you will find a Dollar General, Blockbuster,
Bill's Shur Save grocery store, Midas Muffler, as well as a variety of
restaurants and fast food places.
Pocono Commons Shopping
Center (Stroudsburg)
If you are still looking for more than what Mt. Pocono
provides then venture a little further down Rte 611 and you will find the Pocono
Shopping Center in Stroudsburg.
This is a newly built complex
featuring Party City, Target, Pier 1, Pets Plus, T.J. Maxx, Talbots, BJ's and
the 116,000 square foot home supply outlet, Home
Depot.
Malls
Viewmont Mall (Dickson
City)
I-380W to I-81 North to Exit 191A. The Viewmont Mall is a
shopper's dream. Look for everything from shoes, men's apparel, and music, all
the way to home and leisure goods and toys. Take a break from the great shopping
at one of the mall's many eateries, or perhaps see a first-run movie at the
comfortable cinema.
Wyoming Valley Mall (Wilkes Barre)

I-81 South to Exit 170B to 115 north to Exit 1 Business Route
309. The Wyoming Valley Mall in Wilkes-Barre will appeal to the
shop-aholic in you. More than 90 stores, ranging from large department stores,
national chains, and local specialty stores make up this large shopping mall.
Take a break for lunch in the Patio Food Court.
Steamtown Mall
I-380
West to I-81 South to Exit 185. Spend the day at the Mall at Steamtown. Here,
you'll find over 90 stores ranging from large department stores to small local
specialty shops. Need a break? Have a seat and a quick bite to eat in the
Station Cafe Food Court.
The Crossings
Complex in Tannersville, just
off I-80 at Exit 45, has over 100 stores. Get ready to sample the shopping
treasures at stores like Polo Ralph Lauren, Osh Kosh B'Gosh, J. Crew, Tommy
Hilfiger, Rockport, Liz Claiborne, Eddie Bauer, Carter's for Kids, Van Husen,
Guess, Bass, Dansk, Totes, 9 West, Nautica, Jones of New York, Reebok, Rue21,
GAP and Anne Klein. The Crossing is open 7-days a week,
year-round.
Stroud Mall
The Stroud Mall just off Route 611 in
Stroudsburg offers shoppers a full-service Sears, JCPenney and Bon-Ton
department stores as well as dozens of national chain stores including Lane
Bryant, Lerner, Electronics Boutique, Spencer Gifts, Foot Locker and Kay-Bee
Toys. The mall has a small food court adjacent to its movie complex. The Stroud
Mall is open 7-days a week year-round.

6% except on clothes and food.
