If you are planning to live on base, you must provide the Housing Office, at your current base, with two copies of your orders and complete an advance application for housing for your assignment to Seymour Johnson AFB.  Your application date will be the first day of the month prior to the month you will be arriving, unless coming off a remote. For example, if your application is forwarded and you will be arriving in June, then you will receive a 1 May application date.  If coming off a remote you will be placed in a prioritized status, fitting your rank and family needs.

There are no specific houses set aside for families with Exceptional Family Members (EFM), however accommodations will be made should there be a need.  The important factor to remember is, it is the sponsor's responsibility to ensure all the required paperwork(AF Form 1466) is made available to the EFM coordinator, at the Family Advocacy Office.

The Mobile Home Park on base is closed.

SINGLE QUARTERS:  Single permanent-party officers report to the Housing Office to process for off-base quarters. Enlisted members reside in unaccompanied personnel housing (UPH).  The dorms have been recently renovated with private entrances and include a community recreation room.  All dorms have semi-private baths with single occupancy rooms (private rooms).
