Anchor Bay Schools Peer
Education Prevention Program (P.E.P.P.): P.E.P.P. recognizes that students can
and do learn a great deal from each other. It further acknowledges that in times
of difficulty, students seek out their peers for advice and assistance. Students
who complete this program will be knowledgeable about the many concerns of
teenagers. Students can, if necessary, direct friends or other students to
appropriate community resources for further assistance. The Peer Educator also
provides and/or participates in activities that promote and encourage healthy
choices within their schools or communities
Mt Clemens Schools also
offers a K-12 prevention/intervention program called "Search, Discover, and
Explore", an after school program available on Wednesdays when students are
released early. There is no cost for students to participate in this
program?however, registration and enrollment forms for this program must be
submitted for each student who intends to stay after school is dismissed on
early-release Wednesdays. Bus transportation for eligible students will be
provided for students who do not participate (two-hours before the regular
school dismissal time) as well as those that participate (at the regular school
