OVERVIEW
The SCS Mobilization and Deployment
Readiness services are provided for Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard
troops and their family members. Services include, unit pre- and post
deployment/mobilization briefings, Family Readiness (Support) Group (FRG)
assistance, information and referral services, resource materials, Unit Rear
Detachment Officer/NCO assistance, homecoming or reunion assistance, and
specialized support services to families of deployed service members.
Pre-deployment and Reunion Briefings are designed to give soldiers and
their family members an overview of resources that are available both on and off
base to assist them in both emergency and non-emergency situations. See also

WAITING FAMILY
PROGRAM:
Assists families of deployed service members or those who
are geographically separated due to an unaccompanied tour of duty, extended TDY,
deployment, mobilization, or repatriation. Registration/notification is
required. Provides personalized assistance and close monitoring of family
members to ensure resolution of problems, provide necessary information, and
make referrals to the appropriate agency or other resources. Contact SCS
