The St. Louis Vehicle Processing Center is located in Pontoon
Beach, IL. The directions from Scott AFB are; take I-64W to 255N
going towards Chicago. Exit off 255N onto 270W. Get off on exit
6A(Hwy 111 South). Go to the traffic light and make a
U-Turn. At the first street on the right turn right, on to Crescent
Drive. Go straight and you will drive into the St. Louis Vehicle
Processing Center.
To pick up your vehicle, you will need your ID, the
shipping documents, and one set of orders. If anyone other than the
military sponsor is picking up the vehicle, a power of attorney is
needed.
To ship a car you must have lien holder permission (letter from
lien holder) authorizing you to take POV out of the country, copy of the title,
6 copies of your orders, your ID, 2 copies of the car registration, complete set
of keys and the car must be clean enough to see body chips. Stereo
equipment must be permanently installed or will not be shipped.
