TO REGISTER A VEHICLE AT SCHRIEVER: It must meet all state
registrations requirements, have current state (either Colorado license plates
or current plates for the state it is registered in) registrations and license
tags, a current vehicle emissions inspection sticker, and proof of insurance.
Every vehicle MUST HAVE PROOF OF INSURANCE, whether or not the state which it is
registered requires it.
INSURANCE: Vehicle insurance coverage
is mandatory in the state of Colorado. It must be verified at the time of
vehicle registration. The mandatory liability minimum in Colorado Springs is
$25,000 bodily injury, $50,000 per accident, and $15,000 property
damage.
SPEED LIMIT ON BASE: Unless otherwise posted, the maximum speed
limit on Schriever AFB is 25 mph. Pedestrians have the right of way
in all cases. All base traffic regulations are strictly enforced.
