The mission of the 50th Space Wing, headquartered at Schriever
AFB, is to provide command and control of Department of Defense satellite
systems and to operate and manage the Air Force Satellite Control
Network. Information can be obtained on 50th Space Wing GSUs on the
internet; fact sheets on each of the GSUs are available. Since 50th
SW GSUs are located all over the world, the nearest major military installation
usually provides support.
