installations. Directly to the West of Schriever AFB is Peterson
AFB. Many services are provided by Peterson AFB that are currently
not available on Schriever AFB. To the Northwest is the United States
Air Force Academy. To the Southwest, Fort Carson and Cheyennne
Mountain Air Force Station/NORAD are located almost across Highway 115 from each
other.
