Parking is limited at Schriever AFB. To help alleviate
some of the problem Security Forces has instituted a carpooling
program. If you drive to work with at least one other person you can
park just west of the North Entry Control Facility in designated, reserved,
carpool parking.
Because of the walking distance between facilities,
shuttle service is provided continuously throughout the day. There are shuttles
running both inside and outside the restricted area.
Local shuttle
service is available to and from Peterson AFB.
Springs Transit has two
buses providing service to Schriever. One of the buses begins their
route from the Air Force Academy. The other begins their route from
the Citadel Mall. Both bus routes are special service buses for
Schriever AFB.
