The Army Community Service (ACS) Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP) provides a variety of free resources to spouses, solders, retirees, reservists and relocating Department of the Army civilians in their job search process.   Services include employment and career counseling, information on local employment and job fairs, assistance with career, educational, and volunteer opportunities, a resource library, and computers with internet access.

An ACS "Employment Orientation" is held weekly.  This orientation provides an overview of the FERP, extensive employment information, and a Resource Packet.  Monthly employment training workshops and free computer classes are also offered.

A self-help job information area is located at ACS Schofield Barracks, Bldg 2091. This area provides private sector job listings, staffing agencies employment brochures, the ACS Hawaii Family Employment Resource Guide, and Nonappropriated (NAF) job vacancy listings.  NAF applications can also be placed in the "drop-box" which is located right outside of the ACS Center at Schofield Barracks.

An appointment must be made for individual counseling or resume review. To schedule an appointment or register for training please call 808 655-4227.
