Vocational Rehabilitation Services -- CONUS -

WIC program
provides eligible families with supplemental foods such as milk, cheese, eggs,
cereal, juice, peanut butter (or dried beans) and formula if the mother chooses
not to breastfeed, or chooses to supplement while breastfeeding. WIC
participants receive vouchers for these specific foods that they use at a WIC
authorized store. WIC point of contact(s) can be identified through the Saratoga
EOC web site.
Participants also receive nutrition education at the time
of voucher pick-up and program certification. Nutrition education provided
includes information on infant feeding, breastfeeding, prenatal nutrition,
feeding picky eaters, food budgeting, etc.
SSI/SSA Office Locator --
Only available in the US, unless you were receiving SSI before you went
overseas. CONUS -If the family had received SSI before moving
overseas and wishes to maintain it.
Medicaid is for CONUS

Food Stamps -- The office is located in Ballston Spa, Saratoga
County.
There are many support groups in this area, e.g.,
Singles Outreach Services, AA, ADDA, and OA.
The Exceptional
Family Member Program is a mandatory program designed to identify family members
with long-term health care or special education needs. The program is
designed to work with your military career and help you avoid potential problems
by ensuring your family member receives the best care
possible.
