The New Parent Support Program at Marine and Family Services
promotes positive pro-active parenting and healthy families through a staff of
caring home visitors who possess special training and expertise in a variety of
topics for parents and young families. The New Parent Support Program
serves families with children from newborn to 5 years old.
Among the more
popular instructional courses are "Baby Boot Camp," and "Mom's Basic
Training." The NPSP also hosts "Play Morning" several times a
month. This gives the child an opportunity to socialize, and the
caregiver an opportunity to network with others.
