Many employers use temporary staff. When an employer
needs staff to catch up on a work project, cover for a staff on vacation or
leave, or add staff to determine if it's the right time to expand the business
by hiring. Working on a temporary basis gives the new employee the
opportunity to gain new job skills and learn about the
company. Temporary jobs, many times, are the perfect answer for
someone who will be available to work for a short time or want to "tryout" a job
field. Temporary jobs are listed at CPOL and the NAF personnel
listings in addition to any contracting companies who may be looking for
temporary employees.
