The Quad Cities area (QCA) has a wealth of agencies to assist
families with special needs. The University of Iowa medical center is
within 50 miles of the QCA and the EFMP Manager can provide a list of
specialties offered there. There are some QCA agencies and their
services listed in these sections. For further information you can
contact the Exceptional Family Member or the Army Community Service
Information & Referral Program.
Additionally, the United Way InfoLINK
line can provide additional information for certain special needs programs in
the area. There are also medical referral lines for both the Illinois
and Iowa sides of the QCA that can provide a referral to a certain agency for
