For Private Owner Vehicle (POV) Shipments contact in the
Transportation Office located in Bldg. 102, 2nd Floor, NW Corner to obtain the
telephone number or web address to contact the port that your POV will be
returning to. When you pick up your POV at the port, you will need
your ID, one copy of orders, 788 Inspection Sheet, a complete set of keys and a
signed Power of Attorney if any person besides the service member is picking up
the vehicle (including the spouse). It is best to call ahead because
the process can take up to one hour to complete. Your vehicle must be
clean and have no more than 1/4 tank of gas. No personal belongings
or flammable materials may be in the car. You will need six copies of your
orders, the car title and/or registration, a letter from leasing company (if
vehicle is leased) and your ID. This process can take 30 minutes to
