The Family Advocacy Program's (FAP) primary goal is to prevent
abuse by providing a variety of services, support, education and resources to
strengthen military families and enhance resiliency. It is a
proactive program concentrating on prevention and
intervention. Programs, activities, and services include: Stress
Management Workshops; Parenting Classes; Relationship Building & Marriage
Enrichment Workshops; Crisis Intervention; Respite Child Care; and the Families
First Program with home visits, playgroup and a Fatherhood Program.
The
FAP program has a library full of books and videos on various subjects including
parenting, blended families, special needs children, pregnancy, and much
more. These resources are available for check-out through the ACS

SEXUAL
ASSAULT PREVENTION AND ASSAULT PROGRAM
The SAPR Program represents a
fundamental change in the DoD's handling of sexual assaults on service members
. By implementing service wide standards for prevention trainings and
response capability the DoD ensures all service members are informed of the
program and victims are afforded the same quality of care. The focus
is on victims to have access to services. The SAPR Program broadens
the sexual assault response focus to encompass both victim care and offender
accountability. By increasing victims' reporting options and
improving victims' access to services the program hopes to create a
"climate of confidence" where the service member can trust the system
and know that the responders will react appropriately when reporting a sexual
assault.
