Robins AFB's Child Development Program offers the highest quality
child care services available for children six weeks through twelve years. The
program is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and
certified by the Department of Defense and the Department of the Air Force. The
goal is to offer children of active duty military and Department of Defense
civilians a safe, healthy, and loving environment while away from parents and
home. The program offers various services in six facilities including full-day
care, hourly care, after hours care, part-day preschool, and before-and-after
school (BAS) care.

Family Home Day
Care: The Family Child Care Program offers child care in a licensed
family setting by providers living in base housing. These
self-employed providers operate their home independently in compliance with
strict Air Force policies, including frequent inspections and close monitoring
by the Family Child Care staff. Extensive background screening and
orientation training must be completed prior to licensing. Annual
training required to maintain licensing far surpasses state
requirements. Various types of care are offered including full-day,
hourly, part-day, nights and weekends. Children ages two weeks to
twelve years of active duty military and Department of Defense civilians are
eligible for care. To enroll in the Family Day Care Program please call (468)
926-6741 or DSN 468-6741.
