Claimants must file their DD form 1840/1840R with Claims
Office no later than 70 days from date of delivery of household
goods. Failure to do so may result in denial of
claims. The Claims Office will provide a claim packet to complete
when claimant files the DD Form 1840. For assistance, please visit
the Claims Office from 8-11 a.m. and 12-3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and
only by appointment on Friday.

returning from an overseas assignment and have shipped a vehicle, you will
receive notification from the port when your vehicle arrives. It will
be your responsibility to go to the port to retrieve your vehicle.

As
part of your counseling on entitlements, you will receive instructions on how to
prepare your vehicle for overseas shipping and which port you need to take your
vehicle. It will be your responsibility to prepare your vehicle
properly and to transport your vehicle to the port.
POV Claims

will receive a card notifiying you when your vehicle has arrived from an
overseas assignment and where to pick it up. It will be your
responsibility to arrange for pickup of the vehicle. If you have any
