Fox Army Health Clinic (955-8888), Goss Road, realigned their
primary care clinics (Family Practice, Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Internal
Medicine) to become Primary Care Managers. Patients call 955-8888 or
1-800-223-9531 and have four choices. The choices are to set an
appointment with the Primary Care Managers or specialty clincs such as internal
medicine, optometry, or surgery; talk with a triage nurse who is on duty
24-hours a day who makes referrals; or talk to the pharmacy or x-ray department
departments. No emergency room services are available at the
hospital. Referrals are made by the triage nurse to hospitals
downtown in the event of an emergency.
The United States Army Dental
Clinc Command can only provide services for active duty personnel due to the
small staff at DENTAC. Family members should be enrolled in a dental
plan. Contact your PAC to enroll.
There are three major
hospitals in Huntsville and about 450 practicing physicians and numerous
speciality clinics.
