REGULATIONS
The post comes under the same traffic
regulations as at any military installation and is patrolled by Presidio of
Monterey Police.
PASS AND ID
The Presidio of Monterey has
gates and gate guards. You will need a current, valid DoD sticker for your car
to enter the installation, and you need a sticker for your car for parking. The
DoD sticker is obtained from the Presidio Police, and the sticker for parking is
obtained from the ID card section of the Military Personnel Division. The Ord
Military Community is open (no gate guards). There is no need for
passes or stickers for cars at Ord Military Community, but it's a good idea to
have them.
