Bus transportation from the Ord Military Community to the Naval
Postgraduate School and the Presidio (DLI) runs once a day each way. It leaves
the OMC in the morning and returns in the evening. The local public
bus company, Monterey/Salinas Transit, runs several busses a day through the Ord
Military Community into town and over to the Presidio itself - about eight miles
from the OMC. If you choose to drive, the commute is less than a half hour
depending upon the time of day.
