The Special Needs Identification & Assignment Coordination
process is mandatory. Appointments are required, no referrals
necessary. It identifies family members with medical, mental health,
early intervention, or special education needs. It is essential to
enroll if required. The Life Skills Support Center will do the
enrollment and also make referrals in the local community based on your
needs.
This service is designed to allow special
consideration in ensuring services for family members are maintained at each
assignment. Eligible persons include active duty members with family
members having physical, emotional, mental, or special education
needs. Assistance with obtaining the following services is also
available: information, referral, rehabilitation, special education, therapy,
and support organizations.
