The Cumberland County Public School System serves 47,662 students
from kindergarten through 12th grade. All schools in the Fort Bragg
and Cumberland County systems are fully accredited by the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools.
STUDENTS ARE ASSIGNED TO SCHOOLS
BASED ON THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF THEIR LEGAL GUARDIAN'S
RESIDENCE.

system: 100-93=A 92-85=B 84-77=C 76-70=D Below
70= Failure.
Students transferring from another school system should take
their immunization record, report card and withdrawal slip from their previous
school to enroll at their new school.

The following sports are offered at most of the Cumberland County high
schools: football, volleyball, soccer, tennis, cross country, golf,
basketball, wrestling, bowling, baseball, softball, track, and
cheerleading. Transportation to the games are provided by the
schools; however, transportation to and from practice is the responsibility of
the student.
