Plan to contact the Family Support Center Employment Assistance Program Manager upon arrival at Pope AFB.  You will be able to obtain information on a wide variety of employment issues.

Contacts/Links lists some of the largest employers in Cumberland County.  Additional private sector employment information can be obtained from the NC Employment Security Commission, yellow pages, Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory, newspaper classifieds, local reference librarian, etc.

Operation Match Force is a Cumberland County Business Council and Greater Fayetteville Futures initiative to enhance the relationship between the military and civilian communities and to promote economic development and quality of life in Fayetteville and Cumberland County.

One key component of Operation Match Force is the military business and employment web portal, 'matchforce.org' (See Contacts/Links).  This site matches local businesses to military business opportunities and job seekers to local jobs.  Business, government contracting officers, purchase cardholders, military and other jobseekers can register, post, search and receive opportunities.
