The US Army Occupational Health Clinic provides Dental exams only
to civilian employees in specific health programs. Active duty
personnel are seen by civilian dentists but must get authorization first through
the Military Medical Support Office. (No authorization is required for x-rays
and cleanings). Dependents of active duty members can be seen locally by
contracted civilian dentists, if the dependents are covered by the United
Concordia Companies, Inc (UCCI) Dental Plan. (The cost of this plan is taken out
of the sponsor's pay check). To find a network dentist go to the
United Concordia web site, select TRICARE (TDP) and click on Find a
Dentist. This feature helps you easily locate a contract dentist
anywhere in the country. Customer service representatives are also
available to assist you with questions concerning your dental coverage.
