It's not easy to move to a new area and feel at home right
away. It takes time to learn about a new area and to make
friends. To help you find out about Colorado Springs and Peterson
AFB, the Youth Center will assign a penpal. Would you like to receive
a personal letter from a penpal? Would you like to get to know
someone, your own age, prior to your arrival? Then, complete this
form and mail it to the address at the bottom, or send an e-mail requesting a
youth sponsor to 21mss/dpf@peterson.af.mil. We will pass on your
request for a penpal to someone your age who will begin corresponding with
you.

available for teens are fast food restaurants, tourist attractions and retail
sales. Information on youth summer programs is available at the
Family Support Center's Employment Resource Room. The Peterson Youth Center
offers ongoing activities for children 6 to 12 years old and teenagers.Year
round sporting events, malls for shopping, miniature golf, game arcades, movie
theaters - something for everyone - that may be the biggest attraction for
teens. On base, the Youth Center has a very active teen program that
includes seminars, trips, special events and fundraisers.
