The private sector is fueled by high tech and service
industries. In the service sector, many jobs require unskilled
workers such as sales and fast food restaurants. Openings always
exist for clerical workers. Many of these positions have part-time
positions. A good source of employment information is the local
newspaper, the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, and the various temporary agencies
within Colorado Springs.
