The Peterson Child Development Centers offer comprehensive day care programs for children from 6 weeks of age through 5 years.  Programs use an individualized approach to activities for the children.  The cost is determined by a sliding scale based on total family income.

The Child Care for PCS Program is available for families when you are within 60 days of your PCS departure or arrival at this base.  Twenty (20) hours of child care will be provided in licensed Family Child Care homes on base and paid for by the Air Force Aid Society.  Please contact the Relocation Program at the Peterson Family Support Center in order to obtain a certificate of eligibility and further details on this program.

The Youth Center has been recently renovated.  There are many improvements, including a computer lab!  The Youth Center on base offers a Before and After School Program, and a Summer Camp Program.  All programs are on a space available basis.  To utilize the Youth Center you must have a Youth Center membership.  The cost of membership is $30 for the first child and $10 for each additional child per year.
