During duty hours, the arrival point for all inbound active duty military members, serviced by the Peterson Military Personnel Flight (MPF), is the unit Commander Support Staff (CSS).
Outside of normal duty hours, the arrival point for all inbound active duty military members, serviced by the Peterson MPF, is the Peterson Temporary Lodging Facility (TLF). If inbound members report to the TLF, the member or his/her family (if appropriate) will receive on-base quarters or a non-availability letter. In addition, by reporting to the Peterson TLF, the inbound member's travel time and permissive leave time (if appropriate) can be properly accounted for. All inbound members should turn in the Field Record Group (includes member's personnel/medical/dental records) to CSS personnel upon checking in to the unit. After check-in, CSS personnel will schedule the inbound member for an inprocessing appointment with the Military Personnel Flight.
